Here is my brothers 1998 GMC Sierra. The most work has been done in the suspension category. Future plans are a motor swap to a Vortec 350 or maybe even an LT1.. I will try to lay out the info as best I can and if you have any questions just send me an e-mail.

Here are the specs of my borthers truck when he bought it in late 2003:

The truck was bone stock when he bought it except for some universal 15x8 wheels. First thing on the list was a 4/6 drop from DJM.

The exterior is in fairly rough shape but we've done a few things to clean it up a little. With a paint job in the future we'll likely just leave the shaving and pan in primer until it goes into the booth for new paint.

The stock 16" steel wheels my truck came with suck. They needed to be tossed for something much better looking and for this I originally chose a set of 16" Alcoa wheels. Those wheels were great. They made such a huge difference when it came to looks the truck looked completely different. I kept these wheel until the decision was made to go to a full air system and I decided I needed bigger wheels. My only option here was to get a custom made set of 19" rollers and that also included a very hefty price tag for tires. Here is a list of my setup.

This GMC had the base interior. Very bland and very boring.

The truck came stock with a 5.0l 305 drivetrain. The truck now has a Kim Barr 355 Chevy Vortec Engine with these specs:

The rest of the drivetain and performance goodies are:

Even though Whipple doesn't recommend or say any ignition upgrades are necessary I chose to upgrade my ignition system just a little to accommodate the extra fuel and air the engine is using. I plan to add an ignition box soon and an MSD coil upgrade.
